Case Hardening
Did you Know?

The terms “Case Hardening” or “Case” are generic terms that do not define the “Case Hardening Process” enough for RSTW to process your parts and material with a great deal of confidence. More specific terms defining the many different case hardening processes are needed on incoming Purchase Orders. Specific “Case Hardening Processes” are Carbonitriding, Carburizing, Gasious-Nitro Carburizing (formally known as Ferritic-Nitro Carburizing), Gas Nitriding, etc.

RSTW has a flexible certification system, which can be tailored to our customer’s different needs and requirements.
